You DO NOT NEED to purchase any online courses, from AHA or ANY OTHER WEBSITE before your class. American Heart Association offers a "blended learning" course (HeartCode), with an in-person skill check.
This costs you MORE because an in person skills check because you have to purchase both the skills check AND the online portion. However, AHA's blended learning option is still ideal for some situations, if you have questions about which class option is right for you feel free to call us at (214) 475 - 0945.
If you have already purchased American Heart Association HeartCode and completed the online course, you can call us to schedule a skills check.

It depends on how many people sign up for your session, typical locations include USU campus and the Logan Library. Addresses and more information will be sent to you before your class.
How long does class take?

American Heart Association courses take about 3-4 hours depending on the skill level and prior knowledge of participants.
Standard CPR/First Aid certifications take about 1-3 hours depending on the skill level and prior knowledge of participants.
Civilian Response to Mass Shooter Event add-on takes 30-45 minutes on top of class time.

Yes!! Anyone is welcome to join class to learn FOR FREE.

Nope! Unless you opt for a blended learning course, you will learn everthing you need to get certified in class!

Refer a friend and they get $5 off their course, and you get $5 your next renewal or bring a friend to your class and you BOTH get $5 off! (make sure to let instructor know beforehand)
Or student discount of $5 is available. (discounts cannot be combined and valid student ID must be shown)

You most likely need American Heart Association Basic Life Support ($60), but make sure to check with your school first!

No worries!! American Heart Association offers an Advisor: Basic Life Support certification for individuals with physical disabilties or limitations. Learn more about it here : American Heart Association

American Heart Association classes should get their cards emailed within 1-3 business days, no more than 5. All other classes should get their cards by end of the next business day.
